The BOTS app experiences: Patrick
One of the most important factors for BOTS by RevenYOU to grow and pursue their goals is to have a strong community. A community of users, developers and colleagues. Today we give the floor to a user of the BOTS app: Patrick. One of the many users who talk about their BOTS app experiences.
"This story hardly anyone really knows, but it's a really, really good story." Patrick, the 23-year-old BOTS app user from Rotterdam, immediately has to laugh himself again and starts talking about his trading experience.
About 8 years ago, Patrick decided he wanted to deal with crypto. His savings account was emptied and he wanted to use the money he earned with his side job. "You have to imagine that I was just a minor back then and actually no one did anything with crypto anymore. So it was a pretty special move I made."
Patrick's buying some Bitcoin. "It was pretty hard to get Bitcoin back then, so I had all the codes I got written on a note." Patrick hid the note with his codes in a hole in a hollow wall. And it was there for quite a long time. "Fair is fair. I just forgot," says Patrick, "I was really busy studying and working. Just building a life. That's why I never thought about that piece of paper again."
Until in 2017 he wanted to demolish the wall in question, to enlarge his bedroom, and the note reappeared. At that time, the Bitcoin stood at €16,500. "So I immediately sold it all, of course."
It'll be quiet for a while. "So you're 20 years old and suddenly you've got over $125,000 in your account. Unbelievable, isn't it?"
Patrick & BOTS
Over the past few years, Patrick has acted a bit here and there. With varying degrees of success. Both in terms of return and user experience. A month and a half ago, he first saw BOTS on television and decided to download the app. And Patrick is enthusiastic. "This app is really new. There isn't a single app you can trade with like this." And so Patrick talks enthusiastically about his BOTS app experiences.
Patrick currently has money on 3 different bots. If we ask him about his favorite bot, he needs some time to think. "I think it's Joe DareDevil. It appears to be a very stable bot with gentle descents and sometimes solid rises." When Patrick quickly checks the BOTS app we immediately hear that the bot has risen 4.5%. "In one day," Patrick laughs, "that's great!"
Patrick is also active within the BOTS community. Especially on Discord we often see his name passing by. "For me, Discord is completely new, but I think it's really good that there are channels like this. That there really is room for a community."
Only enthusiastic messages from Patrick. Aren't they? "Well, there's some room for improvement." he says. "And I can see that on the Discord channels." Of course we'd like to hear some examples from Patrick. Patrick has prepared himself well and immediately shares his own list of points for improvement for the app. "You can handle that, can't you?" he laughs.
Patrick's constructive feedback mainly shows that we should communicate even better on a number of fronts. "I already have some knowledge of how to act, but not everyone has that knowledge. It is not clear to a 'layman' why a graph, for example, sometimes stays flat for a long time. I see that question just passing by a couple of times a day on Discord."
And so there are a number of points that Patrick makes that we could be even more transparent about the action itself. "The app itself is great," says Patrick, "there's really not a problem there. Super user-friendly even. But sometimes it lacks some background information. And that's a shame." Patrick even has some suggestions for us that we can definitely use. He's happy to help us improve the BOTS app experience even further.
"That you now get a tour as a new user is great. But I would like to be able to follow it again afterwards, for more explanation. And a very important thing for me is the constant availability of the support team. The content this team offers is top, Merlin and Daan are really super helpful in the support channel. It would be nice if support would be more widely available. Like weekends, evenings and of course in emergencies."
The future of BOTS
There are a lot of positive points to be made while talking. As well as a number of points on which we could improve. We ask Patrick if he is willing to share his list of areas for improvement with us. "Of course, because I think that's what we're here for."
When we ask about the future of BOTS, Patrick shoots a little laughing.
"If you implement everything on my list, I predict a great future for BOTS."
"But without kidding. I think BOTS can be huge." Patrick sounds convinced. He is especially pleased with the fact that BOTS has such a strong community in which constructive criticism is appreciated. "And it's nice to see that the things we ask for are actually built and implemented. That our feedback doesn't disappear into a big bowl."
Patrick feels appreciated as a user. "The fact that we as users are so involved in the improvements is truly exceptional. And that's where you start to bind users." Patrick also wants to add that it is quite exceptional that, despite the sometimes critical feedback from the community, the trust in BOTS is enormous.
"That says something about the way you work. I rarely, if ever, see this at other companies."
Finally, we want to know if Patrick is going to expand those 3 bots? "I've been using the BOTS app for a little over a month now. If the bots continue to develop like that, just like the app, I will definitely expand. It would be nice if I could come up with such a good story again, wouldn't it? Then I'll definitely come back and tell you about my BOTS app experiences".
