BOTS in beta: The 1.0.5. update
The live version of the BOTS app has been running for some time now. Regular updates are still being made to make the app even better. Hundreds of users are still joining the app every day. And we are very happy with that. Together we're going to make the world of investment fair. Time for an explanation about the latest beta update.
The BOTS app is live
After 5 months of testing in a beta environment, the BOTS app went live at the beginning of May. The app can be downloaded for both Android and Apple. The number of users of the app is still growing daily with hundreds of users. We are very proud of that. What we are also proud of is the large number of positive reviews we receive. These positive reviews not only confirm that we all did a good job together, but also help us to make the BOTS app better known. The more popular an app is, the more it is shown in the appstores. Are you enthusiastic about the app? A good review will help us all.
"Super app. I've got some savings, no interest at the bank. I don't know about stock markets, but I have a good return. Simple and easy to operate from my lazy chair. Great."
"Easy app to get in, even for this relatively new investor. It's good that there will soon be a Dutch version. BOTS is great."
"Very simple and clear to use. Very nice that the costs are so low, good for the return. I started with a low amount to see how it went. Now I also dare to use higher amounts because I have seen how well it works".
The latest beta update (1.0.5.)
In the latest beta update (version 1.0.5) a number of things have also changed. These changes are now only available for the users in the test flight. As soon as it becomes available for the live version of the BOTS app, we will of course give you a call. More information about the latest live update (version 1.0.4.) can be found here.
The most important changes in the 1.05.0 beta version:
Sort your active bots now
On the dashboard screen a "more options" button has been added. This concerns the three dots that are shown next to the tabs "active, in processing, stopped". With this button active bots can be sorted by result, newest and investment amount. There is also the option to disable or enable the charts of the active bots, in order to be able to customize the overview more. The crypto-euro toggle can also be found under this add-on/option button.
Face ID & Touch ID
You can now login as a user, reset your password and start a first bot using Face or Touch ID. If your type of phone has the option to Face ID and Touch ID you can enable or disable these features in the BOTS app under the profile menu "Settings & Security" and then under "Access code". If you have not set a password when logging in to the app, no Face ID or Touch ID will be enabled when logging in.
Google Cloud translations
In this 1.0.5 version it is also possible to have the bot descriptions automatically translated using the Google Cloud tool. By default, the bot descriptions are set to English and when the language setting of the app is set to Dutch, this auto translate function appears with the bot descriptions.
In addition to the above improvements, a number of small things have been changed in this latest update:
- The option to show your total portfolio amount in the login screen is now only possible through the profile menu.
- When the crypto-euro toggle is used, the graph is no longer default to a week.
- When there is no connection to the server the user gets a message with a direct link to the server status page.
- Start date of an active bot has been added to the information of an active bot.
- Improved dashboard design and easier way of scrolling.
